Douglas County Launches New Citizen Service Center

Platform Allows Citizens to Report/Track Non-Emergency Issues via Phone and Online Portal

(Douglasville, GA)- Douglas County Government is thrilled to announce the launch of its new Citizen Service Center (CSC), an online portal and phone service designed to streamline the reporting process for non-emergency issues throughout the County.

The CSC platform, which launched on January 2, 2024, is accessible through the County website. The user-friendly platform allows citizens to report and track issues of concern including traffic-related problems such as malfunctioning signals or hazardous road conditions, code enforcement matters, stray animals, abandoned vehicles, and more.

Users can submit new requests, review existing requests, and track the status of requests. The application has been optimized for smartphones but is responsively designed to be used on tablets and desktop computers as well.

“Our goal with the Citizen Service Center is to create a more responsive and citizen-focused local government,” said Wendy Caudle, Douglas County Constituent Services Manager. “By using advanced technology, we aim to address non-emergency issues quickly and efficiently, making the community a better place for our citizens. We want to make sure citizens know they are seen and heard.”

“This initiative aligns with our Douglas Forward 2025 Strategic Plan,” said Assistant County Administrator/Chief of Staff Tiffany Stewart-Stanley. “Douglas County is committed to nurturing collaboration and increasing transparency between citizens and government, while continuing to foster open communication. This is one of the many ways in which we are transforming Douglas County,” said Stewart-Stanley.

Requests can be submitted online to the Citizen Service Center 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Citizens can also submit requests and concerns via phone if they prefer, by dialing 770-949-2000. Representatives will be available Monday-Friday from 8:30am-4:30pm.
