Deer Lick Park

Deer Lick Park is a 66-acre park is located on Mack Road north of Fairburn Road and serves as the headquarters for the Recreation Division of Douglas County Parks and Recreation. The Park includes both passive and active areas.



Active activities include:

  • Basketball
  • Batting Cages
  • Bocce
  • Disc golf
  • Mini-Golf
  • Softball
  • Tennis
  • Volleyball

Passive activities include:

  • Fishing
  • Picnicking
  • Playground
  • Special events
  • Walking


Facilities include:

  • Activity Center
  • Amphitheater
  • Athletic Fields
  • Gazebo
  • Group Shelters
  • Gymnasium
  • Restroom Facilities
  • Tennis Courts

The Park also hosts a 3-acre fishing lake with a pier. Group shelters throughout the park can be reserved for many activities, including family reunions, birthday parties and company functions.


Douglas County Park facilities may be reserved by:

  1. Download and complete the reservation application.
  2. Once complete you can bring the completed form in and check for availability.
  3. If there is a rental available and the amount is under $100 the payment must be paid in full. If over $100 you may put a 50% deposit down on the rental to hold it. The full amount will be due the day before your event.

Unless otherwise reserved all Douglas County outdoor park facilities are available on a first-come first-serve basis.

You can bring your payment to the reservation office at:

Douglasville, GA 30135

The office is open Monday through Saturday, 8 am to 8 pm and Sundays 1 to 6 pm. Guest Services is located in the Deer Lick Activity Center.
